The Powassan Voodoos finished up a successful weekend camp.
The two-day camp included ice sessions at North Bay Memorial Gardens, an outdoor dryland session, and a dressing room tour at the Powassan Sportsplex.
Chris Dawson, Voodoos GM, was pleased with the turnout of more than 30 players during a busy early May weekend.
“We had players from across all corners of the province this weekend including some impressive local talent,” noted Dawson.
“It was a very competitive camp and a great way to start the recruiting season. The prospects have an idea as to what it means to play for the Voodoos and we appreciate their interest in our program.”
Dawson says the team will be making some signing announcements in early June when the signing and trade window re-opens for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
The Voodoos are expected to have another mid-summer camp within the area in July and then expect to open for main training camp at the Powassan Sportsplex in late August.
